Carlo, Inc. is a leading property management and real estate development company located in the San Fernando Valley with a large portfolio of apartment communities. We are currently recruiting for a leasing consultant to assist with the growth of the community and company. This position will assist prospective residents and ensure that great customer service is provided with their entire leasing experience.


  • Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to community team
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
  • Operate telephone, personal computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and community software
  • Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws preferred but not required
  • Minimum one year of Customer Service and Sales Experience
  • Good Credit is required
  • Must have a sense of humor


  • Take part in outreach marketing activities on a regular basis to obtain prospect residents
  • Advertise vacancies using variety of social media and promoting materials
  • Present and lease apartment units to prospective lessors
  • Conduct market surveys each month and submit by due date
  • Receive all telephone calls and in-person visits
  • Listen to resident requests, concerns, comments and report to appropriate departments
  • Cover for management staff absences and overall property management assistance
  • Plan, organize and conduct resident functions as needed and as directed by Property Supervisor(s)
  • Develop and maintain high level of customer service relationships with prospects and residents
  • Uphold a professional appearance at all times
  • Report all unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
  • Assist managers in collecting rent, balance dues and outstanding paperwork
  • Accurately prepare and be thoroughly knowledgeable with all lease-related paperwork
  • Ensure leasing office, tour path, vacant apartments, amenities and general curb appeal of community is pleasing to all 5 senses and impeccably clean
  • Monitor outstanding work orders and constantly communicate with maintenance staff
  • Stay fully informed of current rental rates, floorplans, locations and all amenities of the property
  • Ability to work in a group or individual environment
